Week 27:Mexico Vacation
This is a report for ALL 3 kids:)
We went on vacation to MEXICO!!
Math: We learned all about the money they use in Mexico. In Mexico they use pesos. 1 peso = .05 dollars. We basically divided all the Mexican prices by 18 and that gave us a decent idea of how much it would cost is US dollars. We all earned and saved money so that we could buy our own souvenirs.
Language Arts: We learned so many Spanish words! Hola! Que dice...? Adios! Mi amigos. Habiticiones. Abierto.
Science: We drove to a couple different beaches to look for tide pools. We saw lots of different kinds of crabs. We also witnessed FOUR eggs wash onto the beach!!! We're still trying to figure out what they might have been. THey had an animal inside of them.
Tech: We built the coolest sand castles!
Ninja/Acting Class: We didn't have ninja or acting but we went snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming and hiking.
