This week I practiced measuring. I measured using centimeter cubes and inch tiles.

I started a new book this week and I am already almost done with it. It is called Big Ball of String. It is about a boy who wants lots and lots of string and then looks for different ways to use it.

I am doing rational numbers. They are more difficult for me than integers.

In Hattie Big Sky Perilee and Karl's barn got set on fire because Karl was born in Germany and no one likes him because of that. And someone set Hattie's hay on fire because she is friends with the German family.

In biology this week I took a test on evolution. I didn't do as well as I could have. I missed a lot of answers in the section about dating and dinosaurs.

This week I watched a video by Mark Rober about carnival scams. There is a carnival game where you climb up a rope ladder that spins if you don't stayed balanced. The reason it is so hard is because it looks easy enough because it looks like a regular ladder, so you over estimate what you are able to do. It is easy to miscalculate the center of balance because it looks like there are 2 centers of balance, but there is only one, and if you don't keep your own center of balance then you will spin.
Acting
We are working on improvisation. We played a bunch of games this week. We didn't any that I particularly liked. We have a new student and he is a good example of a "talking head."
